Man- I feel your pain but I would honestly re-think your strategy on this one. The reason that elevators carrying people are so expensive is because of the liability involved. I realize that the theory of operation is almost identical but there's just to much to loose in doing such a project. My hydraulic vendor won't even touch a hyd. cyl if they know it's off an elevator.
