There should be a screw in the front of the regulator. I use to take a cup of water and put the hose coming out of the regulator in it. You should see a bubble of fuel about a second or two apart. If it is coming out at a steadier pace than that try to adjust it by turning the screw. If that doesn't work you may need to replace system.
