lishoy,
generally when the faulty component is repaired the fault code should clear itself. On occasion though i have seen where the code gets hardset in the ECM and has to be cleared with a handset or pc.
And also consider that the part could be faulty out of the box.
back to the troubleshooting board as one would say :o)
hook your service tool or pc back up and see whats going on
