swoop, if you will read more carefully you will see the pc approach has already been done by G. Poole techs with no good results.

At the time I had only temporary batteries (two Marine deep cycle size 27) in place, and they were thinking it needed more weight to act properly. I demoed that by picking up a machine that weighed over 3,000 lbs the problem was still there, but that didn't convince them. So now I have a 1600 lb Deka battery in position and if anything, it is now worse !

(my theory on why it seems worse with the battery= creeps slighly slower with added weight and when mid speed finally hits the natural reaction is to throttle back, but it drifts a tiny bit more due to inerta from the battery weight...thus it is even more annoying now !)
