While the basic units are very similar for units built in MCFA, MCFE or MHI Japan there are some differences in products built in MCFA, MCFE or MHI Japan - primarily due to the UL requirements mainly in the wiring for North America (priamrily US & Canada) and EU compliance for European markets and the Asian Markets probably have some unique features as well and certain items that locally sourced in each production facility. Some of you can recall all those parts sourcing problems for the "grey market units" that landed on the beaches in the '80s.
