I know H & R clutch- I don't mean to second guess them- I was advised early in my career that the spring action of the disc was to soften engagement- that could be incorrect. As far as the oil- I'd call H & R and confirm that their clutch material is compatible with ATF. ATF is stickier than engine or hydraulic oil- this is the reason for my concern.
