the 2 pots are 1: for adjust half voltage at center (after mechanical adjustmenthas been done) 2: for gain, but this can also be done on controller. Airgap is to be so big that the sleeve/bushing can operate up/down and NOT touch attachment ring. Be sure everything "runs" freely. I'll see if I can find old workshopmanual. This forklift was taking out in 1994-1995.
