I have never heard of the truck shutting down because of the injector. It will usually just throw a code and keep running. It almost sounds like the engine shut down system is activated, either too hot or low oil pressure. I am assuming that this is the Asian system and i believe that there is a black box mounted near the regulator that has something to do with engine management. I have not run into any issues with them but have been told they are a pia. Maybe someone can shed mor light on the problem.
