hey crownie, thank you for your response. just a couple of odd points here, for some reason the code only seems to set off when the height switch that is activated by the carriage is opened/closed intermittently. Also would you be able to provide any info on how to calibrate the encoder once i am done replacing it. I went into the calibrate menu but i only get a 0-1 display. Thank you for your response and help.
