Manual says it could be a tiss or toss sensor failure. Should be 5 volts between wire 256 and wire 108. Also check for shorts or broken wires, in the remaining wires to the tiss and or toss sensor.
The intermittant battery drain could be a fun one. You can isolate circuits by removing fuses or relays ubtil you find it.
