lol AHHH the wonderful world of forklifts......try working on them everyday. My 2 cents. Sometimes the mechanical check valve in the propane tank will lock on. Disconnect, Bleed line ( NO Smoking) Connect coupler fully. You need to turn the valve slowly open. A converter and vaporizer are the same thing depending which side of the pond you live
