doosan did have some high profile customers but it seems as late that many are turning away from the brand. The Pro5 introduction after such a succesful daewoo machine was a big hick up. Original machines had issues with axles, then inching cables (some still break after a week or so even with the mods) and lets not mention software issues. early machines also suffered from lift ram seals leaking and unless replacing the whole ram wont stop. Radiators fail on a regualr basis on the g18-5 and now the market is being flooded by doosan with their cheaper chinese built gx range (just having added a new smaller chassis model) to appeal to the cheaper user i cant see things improving in the near future. What is the long term plan for them does anyone know? with their purchase of Genesis what is to become of the dealers in the southeast?
