Hi All,

We have a Gould GERR18-680TI battery charger and we got a new battery for our lift, but the charger is overcharging it (I assume the amperage is too high), so it starts to boil off the water in the battery and makes a real stink.

I have a local technician who is very good and says he can modify our existing charger to be paired up properly with our new battery and help us save some money by not having to buy a new charger.

If anyone has this information and wouldn't mind sharing it that would be great! It's an old unit, here are the full details of it:

Gould GERR18-680TI
Serial: E 310177

AC IN:
Volts: 208/240/480
A: 20 10
Phase: 3
Hz: 50 60

DC OUT:
Volts: 36
A: 105
Cells: 18

If images would help let me know and I'll send them or post.
