think you need to pull the battery out, clean all the corrosion out, change the main suction line to the pump and also closely eyeball all the other hoses, including the power steering pressure lines, looking for any place a bit of hose has rubbed through, or gotten "spongy" from battery acid. also check for loose fittings including any fitting with an O ring.
