It sounds like you have a twin drive motor machine with SepEx motors (but this is only a guess). The light wires will be for the field current and the heavy ones for the armature. So long as the cables are paired correctly the only thing that should happen if you get them wrong is that they will drive the wrong direction.
But i am assuming a few things as your English is difficult to fully understand (my Portuguese does not exist).
