am building an electric car. I have saved ALL of the electronic components from a old stand up forklift, and am in the process of installing them into a Geo Metro.

I have a GE 6.7" traction motor already bolted up to the transmission, and am ready to start the re-wiring process.

Now, I saved pictures of EVERY wire that was disconected, so I do know where everything goes......

The car will typically be driven in 1st. 2nd and 3rd gear, with an estimated top speed of 30MPH. Curb weight is 1900 - 2000LBS, but gearing is a bit taller than a conventional forklift.
Here is my cards info....
EV100T1TT1
serial number - PR LX-047766

The EV100 control panel was mounted on a steel surface with temperature conducting grease. It is NOW going to be mounted where there is alot of airflow. May I omit the plate behind it as a heat sink?

The word "robotics" was coined by Russian-born American science-fiction writer Isaac Asimov who first used the word in 1942 in his short story 'Runabout'. He characterised robots as helpful servants and as "a better, cleaner race."
