Hi jason v

the fault code points to a steer pot problem:

DESCRIPTION OF STATUS CAUSE OF STATUS INDICATION
-12 Steer angle potentiometer voltage is too low.
This status code will be displayed when P12 is less than.39 volts.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Steer angle potentiometer input mis-adjusted or defective. Loose or missing connections at P19,
P12 or P20.
*= Input voltage at P12 should be greater than.39 volts at all times. Insure that the adjustment of the steer potentiometer

Defective control.
*= Replace control unit.
