I have to say......Who took the decision to close the Castleford engineering function down before having in place the necessary resources elsewhere?? This to me is a fundamentally flawed decision on the part of a senior management team. Whats-more, the pressure the remaining functions are going to be put under will undoubtedly strain the 'code of conduct' to its limit. I fear for the people left holding this massive problem. I think it is fair to say that however you you look at the 'Toyota way; Code of Conduct, respect, etc, in TMHUK world it is only a thin veneer covering a sad reality that the workforce is thrashed to the bone.
