I am presently working on this Caterpillar V40D forklift and having a hard time finding the starting problem. Sometimes it starts and other times not a chance. Is it possible that some one has previously worked on this machine and installed the wrong Regulator on it? They have a CT2W4392 vaporizer on the machine now and the sources say it should have the CT7C1189 Regulator on it. The machine turns over fine but just won't catch all the time. Has a new module installed and a full tune-up kit.
