I have a customer, that I do the service for, buy 5 new machines from a dealer that sold them on getting Shockwatches. They had been having problems with damage. Well that lasted about 2 months before they had me disconnect all of them. The key to activate the machine was a pain. The forklift would bump a dumpster, that they were moving, too hard and shut down and sound the alarm. The supervisor had better things to do than have to go reset the machine and have to check the record of events that were logged into the Shockwatches after each shift. It slowed down production. Nobody liked them. Complete waste of their money. They realized the machines are going to get damaged, it's part of their operation and that was not the way to try to reduce repair costs.
