I was out training this past Saturday , and I came across two relics. The first, a Dahmer, an 8000 pound capacity forklift, Ford powered, rough terrain straight mast forklift, fully operational. The second, a forklift named Ross, non-operational, but I have the service manual, dated May, 1945, by the US War Department. This forklift was developed by the Ross Carrier Company, and is Model 18HT. Somebody, sometime painted red/orange flames along the side and I believe that the problem with the truck has to do with the carburetor. Plaques are still intact.

Does anyone know of these two trucks. Its history? I was given the service manual for the Ross, and its in very good shape for a book that is 63 years old, and the drawings, its details and such, is extremely interesting.

I have pis of both which I shall submit to forkliftaction.com this week.
