Had one unit with 558 code. This lift had excess voltage from the battery to the chassis of the forklift. Ended up cleaning the battery surfaces and isolating the battery with rubber mats on the bottom and sides of the battery so it would not contact the chassis. You can also use wood to insulate the battery also. Hope this helps you out.
