Event code 208 is a can comminication error. You can clear this code by going into the service menu, scroll down to events, scroll down to E3.1 and when prompted select yes. This should clear any codes currently on the lift. If this code reappears then you would need to troubleshoot the can wiring as there is a fault somewhere in the can system. Typically another event code is thrown along with 208 to provide more information. From the symptoms you are experiencing it does sound like there is an issue within the can communication circuit. If this code is thrown again or you havent cleared it yet, are there any other codes present in the log history?
