I had a yale tech come out and the controller was what he thought was the problem. Battery voltage is good. Put original controller back in and randomly can get unit to move in both directions. Is there a possibility the issue could be caused by the rectifiers located on the drive contactor?. It will move in both directions and it seems like going forward is when it abruptly comes to a halt. When i turn key on and i hear steering motor running it will move.

Fact of the week
In March 2002, identical twins in Finland died on the same day in similar accidents within hours of each other. A 70-year-old man was killed by a truck while cycling; hours later, his twin brother was killed by a truck on the same road, about a mile away, before the family had been informed of the first accident.
