You will need a qualified tech to troubleshoot. You may have received a bad controller. First, check battery voltage and fluid. When checking fluid level, only fill the battery cells so the inner cell is covered, never to the top of the fill hole. When it is filled to high, fluid will come out of the battery when charging. If your system is 24 volt, battery should read between 27.5 to 28.5. If the battery is reading 24 volts, it is discharged and will require charging. Good Luck
