Hi Guys. The main awarding bodies i.e RTITB and ITSSAR recommend a 2 day course for conversion training in compliance with ABFG. But remember what the training and certification is about. Are you prepared to sign a certificate as proof that the candidate has received adequate training ?? (HASWA 1974 section 2) Also as accredited trainers we have to comply with the terms of our accreditation.
Would any of you conduct a 2 day conversion course from counterbalance to electric pallet truck ? I certainly would NOT, but at the end of a one day session the training received will be (in most cases) adequate to the candidates needs.

It depends on the machine type, candidates experience and beleif that we are able to prove we have given adequate training in that time.
