You don't need to drop the mast or take the transmission out. You'll need to take the engine out and before you doo put a block under the gearbox case do the gearbox doesn't fall. Remove the torque converter then the transmission pump then front plate. You'll then be able to remove the clutch packs. It is a fairly straight forward job to do
