well i guess i stand corrected
not all dealers are the same
i'm not up north, i'm in NC and when it came to dealing with the diagnozer it was laptop specific, had to be registered to the laptop.
We did use disc's to update it at first, then they went to the online cloud update and we had to do it every so often or it would expire and erase the db when that happened, we would have to reload it with a new dvd disc before we could go on.
I guess things are different up there.
we had a cocacola plant here that did get to use it too but their version of it wasn't a full blown version like the dealership version. All it would do is let them run diagnostics and realtime monitoring, no firmware updating or anything.
maybe they have changed that? dunno... all i know is what we had to deal with here.

Fact of the week
Funerals in Spain typically occur within 24 to 48 hours of death, whereas in other European countries they wait one or more weeks. This rapid timeframe is a cultural norm grown from the past need to manage the warm climate without modern embalming.
