the 'over the mast' cable he speaks of isn't actually a "cable". CAT's genius engineers came up with the bright idea of making a twinline hose assembly with the wire tube made into the hose so basically you have 2 hoses like a twinline hose with a hollow tube in the center of the hoses, all made into one assembly. And the catch to that is the wires running through this tube are loose wires you have to pull through the tube assy and then install the connector ends on after you get it pulled and installed on the mast. I guess running a separate cable was too easy for them so they decided to add a challenge to the mast hydraulic/electric hose concept. And to top that off the route they run the hose with the hose brackets just add's to the challenge when reinstalling the hose assy.
It's not an easy job by any means.
As for the K1 and K2 relays? K1 and K2 reference the contactors, are you meaning the K11 and K12 relays?, from what i remember i never had any issues with those myself.
