this lift keeps burning up ignition coils. The harness has been cobbled together over the years. It has a new wire run from the keyswitch to the (+) pole on the coil and a new wire run from the (-) pole run to the distributor. right now im not getting spark to the plugs. the customer has recently installed a new coil but says they only last about a day. can anyone tell me if there is supposed to be an inline resistor or where to start looking into this issue. this is a new customer so time is of the essence.

Fact of the week
The use of "hello" as a telephone greeting is attributed to Thomas Edison. He is said to have suggested it as a simpler alternative to other greetings, such as "Do I get you?" or "Are you there?".
