Try 55555. That is the factory default password. If that does not work you will need a service tech with the software to get you the password.

As Edward said, you need a service or a supervisor level password to access the setting through the dash.

Thanks for the correct name of the function.
Have only ever seen this on D/C powered lifts until now.
So what is the procedure for turning it down please.

It is not regenerative braking it is called auto decel. You cannot fully disable it but it can be turned down so it only reacts in the last few feet of slowdown.
