Hi, guys. My company contracted a reach stacker manufacturer to help them marketing and advertising in United States. We now have developed their print ads. Do you guys mind sharing with me that which American industrial magazines, publications or websites (forkliftaction.com is recommended by us)they should run on for maximum exposure and reaching out to most customers? Your input is sincerely appreciated. Thank you very much!

Bill, thank you very much for your input...I read the article on ShippingTimes, it is very interesting! I appreciate the info you provided!
Since you are apparently looking at the US market only you should consider Modern Materials Handling, a US based journal, but there are global online only new sites and hard copy journals which specialise in container shipping that could be worth a look. In particular you could look at ShippingTimes, in the UK and Containerisation International, also UK based. In Shipping Times there is a recent article under the headline: Poor container buying costs ports dear.
We are looking for all the channels reaching end users, dealers.
Are you looking for magazines with a print edition, ones that have print and digital magazines, ones that have print, digital and website marketing or are you only looking for website marketing (what forkliftaction can offer)
John, thank you for your timely and detailed reply. The reach stacker we are talking about is the container handling machineries with lifting capacity of 100,000 lb. We have targeted our markets but would like to hear from you guys that what publication has the most exposure to the customers (every magazine we spoke to claims that they reach the most population).
With little to go on based on the information provided other than you have already developed ads for this reach stacker line.
As a suggestion you might want to first have this company identify the key markets that they now serve and have a good reputation in (I am assuming this company is from overseas somewhere) or have them identify what markets this product line was designed to serve. Hopefully, the ads that are already developed are aimed at some of these markets. What was very helpful to the ad agencies I've worked with I (as Product Manager) would provide a product briefing - detailing this type of information along with key & unique design features/benefits, marketing objectives, target markets, budgets, etc. Then the Ad Company prepared a plan accordingly.
Once the key markets are IDd and importance prioritized then you can start your search of publications or other media to introduce the product. Hopefully, this product line as something unique to promote vs. another "me too".
When you say reach stacker, it could mean a container handler (80-100,000 lb. lift capacity) or some people refer to a narrow aisle, electric, standup rider, reach truck (2500-4500 lb. lift capacity) as a "reach stacker"
