Raymond SA Swing-Reach... Lemon?

We have a 4 year old Raymond SA swing-reach, with approx. 4500 hours that has been experiencing intermittent glitches that require at least 4 to 8 hours of down time a month. The problems started about a year ago, and even though we have a service contract, and the scheduled maintenance is always performed, the glitches still pop up. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

'Lemon' is a harsh word...

The more complex a unit, the more things can go wrong.
Raymond loves to make there units as complicated as possible.

If it's a re-occuring problem, then a good tech should be able to get to the root cause.

However, my experience with Raymonds says that you should expect more and more and more failures/glitches as the unit ages.
