Hi,
I am looking to buy a forklift with no experience of forklifts at all. Will be working about 40 minutes per week, and driven by myself. Is these Chinese forklifts like GC Power of any good? They are much cheaper and is not going to work hard
Parts freely available?

I can't agree with you on that one at all but the I do know your an Hangcha dealer so will defend your product.
We had a longtime customer buy several Hangcha trucks due to cost all larger (10t + ic trucks) there experience was you get what you pay for and after 2 years scrapped the trucks. Chinese trucks are still a long way behind European, most US and Japanese built trucks
lifter01's opinion about Chinese forklifts is actually not right about at least one brand.
Hangcha are equal with any other manufacturer in terms of build quality and well ahead of many Japanese and US products when it comes to design and technology, particularly for lithium electrics.
I can't speak to the quality of the UK dealer for parts and service but as a Hangcha distributor for 15 years I can state from experience from sales units and our rental fleet that the trucks are well built and durable.
We were Nissan dealers for 20 years and I would put HC at least equal in quality and streets ahead in technology and factory support.
The majority of Chinese forklifts are cheap for a reason 1 poor build quality 2 poor service back up and 3 no parts backup. Save yourself a lot of hassle and buy a 2ndhand Toyota, Linde or Hyster
