Cat Lift Trucks (& Caterpillar) GP40K:
Propane unit Starts and dies

GP40K1, starts and idles up and down, no pedal response, dies after about 15 seconds. This unit has new injectors, rebuilt regulator, new manifold sensor.
In the past when it acted up, I pulled the injectors cleaned them put them back in and it would start and run ok. But will not stay this running way for very long, couple days.
Any ideas?

AKRalph,
ok this MIL reading thing is a bit different than the other systems but it works on the same principle...
but according to the code reading diagram the 10 flashes indicates a 0, single flash indicates a 1, 10 more flashes indicates a 0, two flashes indicates 2, then the following 10 flashes indicates the end of the code.
So the code it is displaying is P0102, this is indicating a faulty Mass Air Flow sensor signal. 'mass air flow sensor low input' (open).
Check the wiring and any fuses that may be blown, corroded connections at the connectors etc. If all else checks ok then the MAF is bad and should be replaced.

OK I was able to look at it today and get flash codes off of it. Here's what I got. 10 slow, one, 10 fast, two, 10 slow, And on and on the same.

looks like it's got a TB45 propane 6 cyl in it.
when you get back to work (unless you know already) check the MIL light on the dash and record any codes it probably is flashing. That would tell you what error code that will tell us where to start looking.
