Joe, We are the makers of ForkSoXX. We are in Alvin, TX. You can see the product illutrated at our web site: triple w dot fork-co dot dom. or, call me at 281-692-1667. I have samples you can examine and customers you can interview, such as North American Stainless. We are Fork-Co USA.
We make these in any length. Size, in this case, does not matter :)
Well, the stainless problem isn't the end of my problem here. I was informed this past week that on top of the stainless pipe getting marred we are about to get in some kind of high alloy pipe that cannot touch ANY kind of metal including eachother. Each pipe, after it comes off the production lines, has plastic "doughnuts" installed around the outside of the pipe to prevent it from even touching other pcs. of pipe of it's like. Poly fork protectors don't come in the length I need (97") so we're looking at nylon Forksoxx. I'll let you know how it works out.
Joe;
We at one time had almost the same kind of issue that we addressed by copper electroplating.
Good morning Joe, long time no hear. Is it hot enough for you down there? He we looked at the Jayline product protectors, hard rubber covers for the face of the forks, they look like they would work. They are currently used in the beverage industry to protect cans and bottles. They are made in the U.K.
You can also buy them from Caldwell Company. The model is FC.... Their # is 1-800-628-4263.
Call Superior Tire and Rubber they make poly fork protectors.

In the UK they have "slippers", its like a fork extension with plastic coating.
