I'm glad you said that because my boss will have to go after the transport company- who was suppose to cover this stacker during shipping. This was not so in this case. I'm not sure if the customer has received his machine back yet but I will keep you informed.

Ouch, that will cause a lot of expensive issues. Is the salt properly cleaned out? The motor replaced? Salt is VERY corrosive and conductive as well..

JonG, just got word back from the customer about the overheating problem. It turns out that the entire motor compartment was covered with road salt from the transport from the purchase place to the customers warehouse.

Too late JonG, the customer allready sent the machine to the dealer here for service. Once again Thank-you but it is out of my hands right now.

Ray, You're welcome. You may want to have a quick peek, may be as simple as a loose connection, and save your customer some money. Either way please let us know what they find, always good info for the next tech

Thank-you JonG for your quick response. I will advise my customer to get the factory trained tech. to come in and run the diagnostic tests and will inform them to tell the tech about your suggestions as to what the problems may be. Once again Thank-you for your response.

there is a thermistor on the drive motor. It is a silver probe (looks like a piece of all thread almost) with two wires coming out of it. It ends 6 inches later at a plastic plug.
Several things could be wrong.
1. The motor may have an issue and be overheating - COMMON
2. The thermistor may be bad - seen this there is a test for it - Not so common an issue
3. The wiring or the plug may be damaged - THIS IS THE MOST COMMON... Check the wires and the plug.
