Discussion:
Old Hyster H30E lift truck, battery removal

Hi everybody,

We have an old Hyster H 30 E lift truck with a dead battery.
I looked and looked but have no idea anymore how to remove this battery from the engine area. It's too big to bring it upwards and there is no hatch on the side to open it. Using a hydraulic jack doesn't create enough room underneath. For the record, I'm in constructions, I'm not a mechanic.

I hope somebody can help?

Just turn the steering and the steering arm will magically move out of the way.
