Never worked on a Baker before. It has all hydraulic funtions and registers 36 volts on meter, low but should still work. Travel shows only 31 volts no matter where I check voltage. Anyone know what this could be? I don't have a book for it. Its a B-60-CE, 6K capacity, 36 volt.

Exact same issue here. no travel, hydraulics work. 48V battery Type: 24-120-17
Baker B-B60-CE
S/N: 2504-0105
Any help is appreciated!
What's the matter with the unit just low voltage?
It sounds like the battery is has a bad cell(s) or needs replacement. How are you checking the voltage. The best way is with the key on, pull back on the tilt lever until it hits the stop and hold it for a few seconds until you get the lowest voltage reading. Use a volt meter and not the one on the truck because it isn't accurate enough. My guess is if it goes below 33 volts then the battery needs attention or replacement.
