Discussion:
no forward/reverse DP30 1993

bought this second hand unit forklift months ago. at first, it was doing very good/ operates smoothly. but suddenly it stopped moving forward or backward. one of our friend technician suggested to have its' solenoid changed so we did. but it didn't work.

good suggestion nick
he also may want to check the transmission fuse in the fuse block
in the DP30 manual they call it a direction solenoid fuse, pull the fuse cover off at the steering column and check the first one at the top

first i would pull the sump screen out from the base housing and see if it is stopped up, clean it up and reinstall.
secondly there is a strainer in the control valve that should be checked and replaced if clogged up.

I'm not sure on this particular model without a serial number but some of them had port screens between the control valve and the base mount (top of transmission), there were 2 of them that sometimes would clog up also.

also you might want to check the fwd/rev clutch and pump pressures
