A little late to the party since this post started in 2013. Would this code cause the lift to not start? I have the same code but also have no voltage to the injector. Any help would be appreciated or I can start a new thread if need be
well on the cat/mitsu trucks with the nissan engine with the tier2, 3 system they did have alot of issues with wiring, we were constantly finding breaks at the plugs right at where the wires went into the plugs from the harness. I'm not sure if Nissan followed the same pattern and changed up their mfg's on wire harnesses like mcfa did. mcfa changed the type of wire they used in their harnesses and the wire core was less strands and harder and alot less flexible, vibration was the main cause of wiring failures and bad connections at connector crimps etc.
I believe this was the main cause for all the breakage these harnesses were having.
As far as sensor problems? they didn't have that many on the temp sensors that i'm aware of.
They wouldn't come out and say it but it was fairly obvious imo.
Thanks guys very much. Lift has no symptoms- runs well- temp guage reads normal. Gonna let unit cool down, blow out rad, check connections & try again. Is it common to have the guage read normal but the computer sensor read overheat- is one sensor more sensitive than the other- or is it a symptom of a faulty sensor/wiring issue?
what symptoms is it having?
is it overheating?
truck running slow?
coolant level low?
on these systems with the new tier configurations E-32 generally means overheating stage 1 and the truck is put into limp mode till either the engine cools down or electrical problem (sensor) is repaired.
??????

E32 will be the same as if you have a P1218 code. This is were the engine's coolant temp. sensor output voltage has been 0.35 volts or less for a predetemined period (with the coolant temp. sensor normal).
