Does anyone know if the slow switch option for the nissan K21 and K25 engines is a Nissan truck only option? Since these engines are used in other manufacturers trucks, and Komatsu, being such a user of these engines doesnt have the ability to switch the slow on and off, I was wondering if the Cat/Mitsi product has that ability?
Any other manufacturers used the K21 or K25 engines besides, Cat/Mitsi, and Komatsu/Kalmar?
Heard it second hand that Deawoo is using the Nissan engines now. Any truth to that?

Doosan/ Daewoo are using the k series engines in there -7 lifts now and because there is a speed sensor on this option ground speed can be set in the programming.
If you have The Diagnorser program for laptop you can chang speed settings and not affect power
Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks and Cat Lift Trucks can offer both a speed limit and soft power mode switches.
Speed Limit Switch = Allows operator to switch between two set speed limits
Soft Power = Lower fuel consumption
Nissan is the only manufacturer to offer that option.
Yes there is another manufacturer that uses the k21 and 25 engine. The origional Nissan.
No Daewoo is not using these engines and have not heard of them using them in the future.
MCFA does not offer the slow speed switch option but it does offer the option of speed control. The only unit I know that offers the option of a power switch is Nissan
