Nissan CWP02L25S Error Code *011

I have a Nissan CWP02L25S ser No 900897 in for repair, when you turn the key switch on the display shows "Traction Trouble *011" the hydraulic functions work and the drive starts to work but as soon as you try to drive at more than very slow creep speed the direction contactor drops out in forward and reverse. its not like a fail safe as the truck doesn't lurch it just drops the contactor out, I suspect either the foot controller or a current sensor. But as I don't do a lot of work on Nissan's any pointers would be appreciated.
Regards Shane

Hello Shane,
I'm experiencing the same traction control problem with 011 code. 2 forklift mechanics have checked it out and can't find the problem? Where can I find a manual and schematics?

Hi Ray,
Someone from the forum sent me some fault finding info and it turns out that Code *011 is just to tell the driver that there is a problem, to find the out what the the real problem is you use the display to go though a test routine, when I did the test it came up as a traction fuse fault, which as in your case could have also been the line contactor, these both check out OK on the truck and from the checks I have done it is pointing to a faulty logic.

I ran into this problem a few years ago, check line contactor tips for welding or just not making good contact, mine were just barely making contact and the amperage draw was enough to make it drop out and cause this fault. It took me awhile to figure out and you have to fully disassemble the contactor to inspect tips, hope this helps.
