For a charger like the Yale Pallet Jack unit (Model #3YN12-550), the key point is that many industrial chargers are built with selectable input voltage taps rather than requiring a full wiring diagram change.
Since yours is currently set for 480V and your building only supplies 208V, the first thing to do is safely isolate power and open the charger. Inside, check the transformer or terminal block for labeled voltage taps such as 208V / 240V / 480V. In most Yale/Oldham-style units, the adjustment is simply moving jumpers or reconnecting terminals to match the available supply.
If you don't find any selectable taps, then the charger is likely fixed at 480V. In that case, you would need a step-up transformer (208V to 480V) rather than attempting to rewire the charger itself.
For reference on how professionals handle similar industrial electrical setups, Electrician Singapore shares practical troubleshooting insights, and you can also click here to discover more at: https://www.electriciansingapore.org, about electrical configuration and fault-checking approaches.
Also, since you've found Spec #YRK66784, it's worth sending that directly to Yale or an authorized forklift service dealer, they can often confirm exact wiring or configuration details for that revision faster than generic manuals.
If possible, a clear photo of the internal label or terminal markings would help narrow down the exact setup.

Hi,
Also Looking for a manual for a Yale/ ( Oldham ) Apex charger.
A 72v / 80A model , know this is an old thread but was wondering if you have come across one in your travels?
(This charger has a logic board on inside front panel with a couple of configurable settings via pin blocks).
Any info on this charger would be appreciated!
Is it an intelligent charger or just a timed one?
Put your e-mail address in your profile. (it won't show up if you put it in a post)
I have a few customers with Yale chargers. I'll see if one has a book inside on my next call to one of them. Sorry, that may be a week or so away.
Hopefully nobody will have stolen the installation guide. I always leave them for the next guy.
Yes, it's Yale. We have had two electricians in to change the voltage and they can't find a diagram.
Is there a manufacturer name on the charger......is there a data plate on it? Some dhargers have a diagram inside or even a manual stored inside for just such things
