Discussion:
Need info on a C500 Y50

I recently started working for my brother in law's Nursery and need to do some maintenance on a C500 Y50 with a 4 cyl LP Gas engine (not sure how to determine specifically what brand or displacement). I'm having problems finding any specs on this unit. Could someone be so kind as to provide the following information? I would be eternally grateful.

1) Engine Oil Capacity (the dipstick is broken).

2) Weight of ol recommended.

3) Part number for a dipstick.

I can provide additional information as needed.

TIA

I apologize for taking so long to get back to you guys. Right after my original post the bank called the note and my brother in law closed the business. I appreciate all of the replies. If future work demands lead me back to repair duties I will definitely refer back to this site.

Thanks to all

It going to be a Waukesha, but could also be the D176. The PCV system on this unit does not actually exist; that is why condensation rusts the dipstick near the handle due to collection of condensation. The S N is stamped on the right side of the frame just below the step area. Very rugged machine. Get back with me if you need any brake info.

Every one I've seen is a Waukeska and they have a dip stick breaking problem. D155 model. The dipstick is a Clark # 994009 and they hold 4 quarts of 10-30 or 10-40 oil.

Do you have a Serial # for the unit? More than likely it has a Waukesha Engine.
