Discussion:
Model M80D1 S/N A1EC460413 --- F5 Fault

Hi,

We have a Cat lift M80D1 with a S/N A1EC46013. 48V. Extremely well maintenance machine. Within the last 6 months the F5 error will randomly appear and it stops completely the machine. Eventually within usually 30 minutes or so the Fault goes away and the machine runs normally again.

The local technician has basically told us to buy a newer lift so his computer can diagnose the problem. LOL.

Any thoughts or suggestions?!?!

Thanks!!

we have had this in the past and found an issue with the current sensor plug socket side. The sockets appear to perfoect size for meter probe but in fact are slightly larger which cuase a slight amount of stretch and an intermeittent open and F&5 code try a new sensor.
