Discussion:
LPG regulator Aisan branch

Hi all,
I am using two LPG truck and I get more problem with these truck. The truck can not start after working 300 hours. I have checked the LPG system and find the problem on the LPG regulator. The regulator accumulate more tar inside. After cleaning the LPG regulator by solvent, the truck can start normally. My truck installed with LPG regulator Aisan branch.
Have anyone had the same problem with this Aisan regulator. Please share to me with your experience how to solve this incident.
Look to hear from everyone as soon as.
Thank

Personally I prefer Impco, it's cheaper and easier to maintain, but concerning quality, I cannot confirm which one is better.
The temperature (~70 C) is nothing special, remeber, that the regulator is very close to the engine.

You can replace the entire LPG installation to IMPCO, but in my opinion your problem rather lies in LPG quality, not the fuel/LPG system.
Simply clean it more often, replace the filters and membranes, check the valves and LPG hoses.

Hi all,
Thank for your reply. As far as I know, a few another truck used the LPG regulator IMPCO branch this problem does not occur frequently. I think the the temperature in regulator very hot (160 degree fahrenheit) will generate more tars.
Do you have any ideas for this case.

Hello
Problem is everywhere. Using suitable gas. Clean the filter more often, do not let it accumulate, and when the membranes are bad change them.

I understand, that by "the regulator" you mean the flat device, where the
LPG evaporates and changes from liquid to the gas.

Well, I think you should simply change the membranes in the regulator.
Definitely change/clean (depending upon a type of the Aisan system) the LPG filter and clean the mixing unit.
