Wondering if this is in the future? My reading says that a higher power ouput is possible if the compression ratio is raised to take advantage. Seems like most of the advantage is kind of a very mild supercharging, in other words, as the liquid LPG vaporizes right at the intake port it requires/removes a significant amount of heat to change phases.
Tech issues aside, I'm guessing that greater power is always a good thing, but I'm not sure about selling points. In other words, for example, higher power could potentially move a 4 cylinder IC engine into part of the terrirtory covered by a V6 or L6. However, not sure that would be a sales point as the V6 would typically have better structure and possibly better longevity at less than peak power output (where a 4cyl would have to be)
Thoughts?
