Nostradamus P, You're very optimistic for LiftOne as a company. Which is very good for an employee (manager). But surely you realize as large as they are now over so many different states, there will be very different and many obsticles to overcome. In each different area, the competition will be different. I've been told as for your profit sharing, it's still tied to Carolina Tractor. If the whole company doesn't do good, it affects your divisions profit sharing?
You're right- that's exactly how to run a company. If the service is done quickly, done right & the bill is resonable then there's no reason why they shouldn't be successful.
I see they share their profits with their employees- some sort of profit sharing?
Well it seems that Liftone is at the top of the poll in the forklift industry. We learned that for the second time this year profit checks rolled out to all of there employees.
Now we are not the smartest people in the world but wouldn't you think that Liftone is doing something RIGHT to serve there customers the right way?
They repair the problem the first time and with a price that the customer is happy with. That is how to run a company.

Wrenn Bros. was bought out by Barloworld and it was a down hill slide from there - in a nutshell - lots of management & personnel turnover for a variety of reasons are and ROI targets (set by the boys from S. Africa) not met are key reasons.
The share growth for both LiftOne and Briggs is flat, not surprising based on company philosophy of both dealers. Where is Wrenn Bros??
Sure wish Liftone could have got the Atlanta area. They would have fit much better here than the group that has it now.
Well tech n I'm not sure about which clown you are talking about but We have heard that liftone has a few of those left over from there buy out of barloworld.
It's a shame when someone is let go because of there preformance as a manager and then hired back to do the same thing all over again. You would think that upper managment could figure that out. This happends all of the time with all companey's.
Even here it was better 2 years ago. Now we just hold on. Liftone will be the only place that people will go to get service and parts and be happy about doing it.
We hear that the employees at liftone are very happy now. It will be even better in the near future from what has been said.
Do you know something that I don't ? Our customers are sick of this and want service! What can this clown gain by reducing the work force to less then half?
I know what you are saying tech n. Like I have said before just hold on alittle longer and things will get better.
I'm going to try to get hired by liftone in the near future because I have heard nothing but good things about the Company.
As we all know Barloworld trained and trained and trained. The Trainers would go to the factory and get trained there. Then come back and train them selves. Then train us.We were trained by the best!
Now being on the other side of the fence we have no trainers just techs teaching techs and learning off the customers time.
I don't understand how the factory allows this to go on. We have a great leader with the passion to make money but keep the customers happy with out greed. His hands are tied by his boss that is lacking the experience in this industry. Just because you worked for a dump truck company doesn't mean you can run a fork lift company...
Tech n just hold on a little longer.
The word is out that Liftone has rehired another one of the top brass leaders to see that company will be the best of the best.
You said the magic words-" as long as he remains in place"- you never know who may make him an offer he can't refuse. Then BAMN- the shell game continues!
As long as LiftOne's fleet person formerly with Barlow and Hyster remains in place they are not going anywhere!
