Discussion:
Lift/tilt not working

I have a 2011 Crown Fc4000, forklift sat low battery not being used for about two months, finally got her charged up, running fine, but lift hydraulics aren't working properly.

First observed very slow lifting with a sputtering sound, tried to cycle it up and down in case it was air in the system, noticed faint smoke so stopped use. Tried to troubleshoot today, sometimes it will sputter/lift, sometimes it will just click and not lift at all.

Any advice appreciated. Thanks in advanced

Do you have a meter attached to the battery, so that you can view battery voltage while energizing the Lift Motor ?

What voltage do you see ?

Check the brushes in the lift motor. Make sure they are not worn or stuck in the brush holder.

Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
